Being an inherently lazy person, the idea of a palette that contains a bronzer, a blush and a highlighter (3 of my most important make-up staples) seemed absolute genius to me!... and I wasn't surprised when Sleek brought out their face form earlier this year that it became my favourite makeup item in my collection. The actual palette itself only costed £10 which I thought was an excellent price to be getting so much product, the packing was extremely 'sleek' looking and slimline, and the formulations of the products lived up to this standard. The contour is a perfect colour for contouring and didn't have any orange undertones like a few I'd tried before, the blush had a lovely golden shimmer to it and is pretty comparable to NARS' Orgasm, but my favourite of the trio was the highlighter. I'd have happily paid over £10 for a product of this quality, but I was so content with it for a while that I didn't even think of paying £22 for the NAKED flushed. Why would I when I'd found a product that I enjoyed using for under half of the price? Anyhow I found myself in Debenhams last week and for some reason I felt compelled to purchase it so I succumbed. The packaging is a little more luxurious looking than the sleek palette as many people have probably seen, and as you can see from the bottom picture, the product split isn't completely even, with a higher amount of bronzer and highlighter being the lowest. When looking at in in the palette I worried the bronzer may be a little too light but it applied just as the sleek bronzer - on the face you wouldn't be able to notice the difference. However the other two products were very different. Unlike the blusher in the sleek palette, the blusher in the flushed palette is matte and a coral colour. I wasn't particularly drawn to it at first but it has since grew on me and it's a perfect everyday shade for when you want to keep your blush fairly neutral. Finally, Im not sure if its the time of the year, but the highlighter seem to be the big out stander for me with this palette. The highlighter has a lovely golden shimmer to it which looks gorgeous with winter eye looks. So all in all which one wins? Although I realise I'm sitting on the fence here, there really are no big winners because I was incredibly impressed with how good the sleek palette was for £10 and it still continues to be one of my favourite products despite owning the flushed, and although the flushed palette is a bit more pricier at £22 - it's perfect if you want to treat yourself, and the packaging is absolutely gorgeous (plus lets not forget for a high end product £22 is still good for a bronzer, blush and a highlighter)!
